Hi list:

I have seen a lot of comments and discussion about related topics like this but
they were not very meaningful or clear to me at the time... up to know.

I am in the middle of a lot of changes in my shop. We have a brand new iSeries
825, and a set of new tools available. I am developing a new application and I
am using CGI, HTML, JS and Net.Data to do it. However, in my case, and RPG/CL
lover, I am learning these concepts under pressure and in a trial-error basis.
I have 6 books for HTML, Dynamic HTML, Javascript Bibles, etc. plus by
documentation in everything else for the iSeries. We have WebSphere Development
ToolSet, Toolbox for Java, Developer Kit for Java, Java Developer Kit 1.1.8 and
others... but my question is:

... are these the tools I need? I there any better, easier and faster way to
develop web solutions by combining CGI, HTML, JS and Net.Data?

I am looking at the BCD software products such as NetBridge/400 and WebSmart but
I want to know your thoughts.

Your advise is highly appreciated as always.
