If you choose to change the signon screen DO NOT REMOVE THE FIELD! The system is very picky about the fields and their order within the DDS source for the signon display. Either protect or hide the field, but do not remove it, change it's size or move it around in the DDS source. Changing the signon display and the restrictions associated with it are well documented, although off the top of my head I don't remember the exact manual that this information is in.
