Is that the problem where you have to change the password for it to be
reset?   Not just make it status(*enabled).

Or for QDLS, check your directory entry?

Yesterday I could map a drive on a PC to the QDLS folder on the AS400.
Today I 
do not have authority.  I did mess with invalid passwords relative to
another 
problem.  Is there a place that disables a user from mapping drives
after a 
number of invalid signon attempts.  I can signon to the AS400 on a
normal green 
screen.
