Try Mark's idea, especially if you are tabbing or moving through your display.

I've set up displays so that a calendar window opens up right off the bat to
force the user to select a date or date range from the calendar. Once entered
then the rest of the display appears for them and is ready to collect the rest
of the data. That's just a matter of a program call first time through.

You may want to look at the CHECK(ER) attribute. This will cause return to
your program when the field is field exited.

Thanks,

Is there a way to have a pop-up window shows up when the cursor moves into
a
display field? Or a way to execute a command, call or whatever, without
having a to press enter or a command key? I thought there was a way to do
that.

TIA

Jim
