Hi, everybody,
I've used ODBC previously, succesfully, quite a number of times from
Access/97 to AS/400, but that was time ago and my brain is aging... (I
guess!).
Today I tried that same thing again, linking (not importing, but
linking!) an Access table to AS/400 physical file, and as soon as I
tried to delet a record, Access would give me a warning, something like
"deleted unsuccessfull, table is read-only" !
We're running OS/400 V4R5 , latest Cum, DB group PTF's, ClientAccess
4.5 also.
My ODBC , seems to me, is like as always... My only doubt is : The
Table (physical file in AS/400) is not being journaled, and ODBC shows
(Server Tab) "Commit mode: Immediate Commit *NONE" . Could this be the
reason?
Or else, what am I missing?
TIA
