It may, or may not work.  Depending on a lot of factors I could never 
figure out on the original PC.  I do remember scrambling around and 
upgrading numerous PC's whose connection turned quite sporadic.

We are moving to V5R2 from V4R5 and at one of our locations they have
some old emulation cards (don't know the manufacturer) running V3R2
Client Access over Twin-ax.  They are connected from the corporate
office using frame relay using Cisco routers and encapsulated SNA
running a 5494 controller at the remote end.  We are using this to
support a few twinax devices and a few PCs. At this time we don't want
to rewire the remote location because its an old mill (4 stories) and
the drops average 500 feet and this location will be moving in the near
future.  At each PC we have a display session and a printer session
using HP laser printers. 
 
I understand the 5494 controller and twinax devices will continue to
work, but IBM has stated that Client Access 5763XD1 V3R2   is not
supported on OS/400 V5R1.  Does this mean that it will not work or just
not supported??  If it will not work what are some alternatives?
