A couple of years ago, a large homebuilder client of mine told me that he
had been told by the owner of an even bigger competitor that his company was
in the process of implementing SAP. My first thought was the IT manager was
padding his resume, cuz even JDE had gotten out of that market segment. I
then asked him how bad the implementation was going. The answer was 35
million and counting.

The owner of that company really didn't understand what he had been talked
into. Like Ken said, more money than brains.
