RE: *TYPE2 Directory conversion and a V5R2 upgrade....

Chirs asked: "Ok how can one tell if their IFS was converted to *TYPE2
at V5R1?"

At a command line type: CALL QP0FCVT2 PARM(*LIST)

Surprisingly, ours is at *TYPE2.  This must have "automagically"
occurred when upgrading from V4R5 to V5R2 last March.  No one here did
such a conversion.
