I was in Orlando, Florida at a MACPAC conference and got the
announcement
that PeopleSoft had purchased Andersen Consulting's MACPAC. They slid
the
announcement letter under my hotel room door at about 10:00pm on the eve
of
the conference.
There were some mad people the next morning. They were a lot of people
booking flights back home. We all knew PeopleSoft was not going to keep
MACPAC all they really wanted was the Configurator.
I think MACPAC is still around and being supported by a company out of
Memphis.
