Oh, Sorry, Walden.  I didn't see the ambiguity of my statement until you
pointed it out.

No, there are only two systems in this installation, neither of which has a
C compiler......  I'd try to do this on my own system (which does have all
that stuff)... but that system is powered off and 1500 miles away.

Should I infer from that comment that you do have some machines with the C
compiler, just not these machines? If so, remember you could compile on
those machines and savrst to the other machines.
