Have you checked *PUBLIC rights on authorization list QPWFSERVER? If it is *EXCLUDE some odd things may happen at V5R2. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Joe Pluta Sent: Tuesday, May 27, 2003 3:23 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: RE: Can't update IFS anymore > From: rob@xxxxxxxxx > > This new share wouldn't be under QDLS would it? Straight IFS stuff, a folder right off root. I did find a few files that had no public read access, (even though the user ID I logged on with should have had access). However, even after removing those I still have the problem with this one workstation. Is there any way of determining WHY the access is denied? I see nothing in DSPLOG, or in the joblogs for the QZLSFILE jobs or in the QSYSOPR message queue, so I'm at a loss as to where to try to find the problems.
