Start with SI03120 at V5R1.  This will get you the instructions on how
to build an image catalog.  The V5R1 Info Center is also a good source
of information as well.

Yes, save the IFS directory containing the image catalog and the object
of
type *IMGCLG in QUSRSYS.  I used the SAVRST and SAVRSTOBJ commands to
move
them to the target system.  When I ran the VFYIMGCLG command it did not
need
to be sorted, it was already in the correct order.
