Aldon, et al., are not cheap. $10,000 and up, IIRC. But they grant tremendous peace of mind and productivity. And in conjunction with tools like Pathfinder of Abstract, you can manage the side effects of changed objects quite easily.

There are things like cvs and ant that may do the job for you, and are free. Can anyone speak to managing source members with any of this? WDSC knows about both of these things.
