Hey guys, am I missing the point? If you enter:

ENDSBS SBS(QINTER) OPTION(*CNTRLD) DELAY(*NOLIMIT)

The signon screen will disappear from all workstations that are displaying it. No one will be forced off. Those who are on will stay on. When you want to open the system back up, you simply execute:

STRSBS SBSD(QINTER)

and the signon display appears like magic.

The bigger question is whether there is any logic in the batch procedures that might give confusing results as a result of continued entry of transactions while the procedures are running?
