Hi there - I am trying to learn about stored procedures. I am working on a small application and and have questions as basic as how to create them and how to call them from a Java application. I think that they can be created from an SQL session on the AS/400 and then executed from the Java app. Is this correct. My questions are.. 1. Is it only SQL statments that I can have in a stored procedure. 2. Can I have my stored program call an RPGLE program - to validate a user ID for example from an AS/400 database. 3.
