Another good example is OPNQRYF.  If they're long enough, they can be a PITA to 
read and
understand.  The following is a rather simple example:

  OPNQRYF    FILE(( RTISCMKT1 )) +    
               QRYSLT('    MKISCIBASE *GT " "  + 
                      *AND MKCOSTTYPE *EQ "T"') +
               KEYFLD(( MKISCIBASE ) +
                      ( MKISCINUM  ) +
                      ( MKNIELCD   ) +
                      ( MKMKTCAT   *DESCEND )) + 
               UNIQUEKEY(3)

as opposed to this gem from the CL prompter:

  OPNQRYF    FILE((RTISCMKT1)) QRYSLT('    MKISCIBASE *GT +
               " "  *AND MKCOSTTYPE *EQ "T"') +            
               KEYFLD((MKISCIBASE) (MKISCINUM) +           
               (MKNIELCD) (MKMKTCAT *DESCEND)) UNIQUEKEY(3)
