Delete might work if you use wildcards (i.e. \root\home\folder\*.*), but
be careful you don't delete something else as well.
Using ftp commands might work as well, but again use caution.

When setting up the image catalog stuff for V5R2 install, I first 
screwed up and created a directory named "\V5R2Install" (yes, the slash 
is part of the name).

Now I can't get rid of it.  I've tried delete/rename with WRKLNK, Ops 
Nav, and Windows Explorer.  None will work.

I thought I remembered someone having this same problem some months 
back, but can't locate it in the archives.
