I would vouch for Brad's Products anytime...to anyone.

In fact I would vouch several times....
once for each of the products I use of his <grin>

For $230 worth of programming hours I hardly think
you could come up with anything close to Brad's SPLTOOL.

His utilities free me up to spend time on projects that I otherwise
would
have spent coding...and that benefits my company in the long run.

To me that's definitely worth the price.

I fail to see how you feel it's too much.  I have a couple
thousand customers that would disagree.  Especially since
it's command line interface.  

That means you can create a PDF from a spooled file on the
AS/400 within your applications.  In other words, it pays
for itself the first time it is used.  And it's not just a
simple CPYSPLF and quickneasy PDF conversion.  It's to PDF
spec retaining line spacing, pages, underlines, and bolds.  

I don't plan on lowering the price of my software.  In fact,
it may be time to up it a little bit.  Compared to other
software, it's about 1 100000th the price.  SPLTOOL is by
far my best selling utility.  It's been avaiable for over 7
years now, and it continues to evolve and get better.  7
years of development isn't worth $230.  Hmmmm..

Sorry, Shannon, but you're missing the boat on this one as
it's obvious you're not familiar with what I do or my
software or it's usefullness to my customers.  Or what
programming hours are worth.    

Your response actually got me a little heated.  But I'll
forgive you this time.
