To be more specific, I have 250 'users', 150 of which
use pc's because they need to do more in their job
than run our home grown apps.  100 of them do not.
Terminals work just fine for what they are asked to
do.  If their job description were to change, they
might need a pc, but as it is terminals do everything
they ask, including VERY light word processing (one
document a month - add a few lines to a weekly
production report, etc).  We just upgraded the
iSeries hardware with v5r2 in mind and now we are
painstakingly re-evaluating every job, every menu,
every requirement to see how do survive without
OV.  A pc there, a new app here, make this other
person responsible for that part of the job.  Until
this is complete, we cannot install v5r2 even 
though we paid for it.
