Hi,
I hope this is an appropriate question for this list.

I have an AS400 stored procedure that has 3 input parameters and 1
in/out parameter. The stored procedure runs a CL that runs 2 queries.
The procedure is called from a Visual Basic 6 application. When
running in VB debug mode everything runs fine. When the application is
compiled and executed it gets a 'Run-time error -2147467259 (80004005).
Research on the QZDASOINIT job log shows the error is MCH2605 'Invalid
space location unlock request'. The CL and its queries ran and completed
successfully. OS400 version is V4R5M0, Client Access is version 4,
Release 5 Service Level SF67276, tried ADO versions 2.1, 2.6 and 2.7.
I also tried the application with .NET and it will not even work in
debug mode.
Any ideas? Has anyone successfully used VB with an AS4000 stored
procedure?

Thanks,

Jim
