Michael, Could you try something else, or have you? Just to satisfy curiosity - Copy the PDF to your local PC hard drive, make sure it still "looks ok" and then e-mail that attachment to yourself - if it is ok, then yes there is some setting off on your system - if so, how do plain text files look? If it is corrupted, then you have an issue with your mail system isp, mail server, client). That's exactly what I have been doing. The attachment looks okay in the email, but when I try to open it, it tells me that the document has been corrupted. I can go into Ops Nav and find the original on the IFS, though, and from there it opens fine. > > >I did not recall the text limitation from the article. > >What level of OS are you at, and exactly where is the PDF at, what >type of authority does yourself/the sender have to the directory/file? We're at V5R1. The PDF is in a folder with my name on it in a folder off the root of the IFS (/test/mike/test.pdf), and as far as I can tell I have all authority to the folder and the file. . . . > > > >Mark Mike Naughton Senior Programmer/Analyst Judd Wire, Inc. 124 Turnpike Road Turners Falls, MA 01376 413-863-4357 x444 mnaughton@xxxxxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo.cgi/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
