I was doing some thinking. While "initial program" would provide some fantastic flexibility I was falling into the trap of only thinking in a 5250 frame of mind. Knowing (a little) on how server jobs work, this may be quite a nasty trick to function well with ODBC, web, and other such jobs. Changing a job attribute may often not be appropriate when you can't tell what job your next server command may run in.
