Sorry, violated the "read all email before responding to any" rule. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin "Uros Davidovic" <Uros_Davidovic@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 04/14/2003 02:51 PM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion To: "'Midrange Systems Technical Discussion'" <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc: Fax to: Subject: RE: IFS symbolic link library mapping Eric/Rob, The main problem was that I was trying to access externally desc PFs through a mapped drive, which does not work. I am aware, as I replied to Vern, of the Ops Nav capabilities, but it does not do me any good directly since I need to use the files in a 3party software product that will do a compare. We have accounted for all the packed stuff/binary stuff (we would convert the files to the point all the fields are signed or alpha...). Regards, Uros
