When doing a restore, the system "walks the bus" on the first bus checking
for which device has the media. If your LTO is on another bus, there is a
was in DST/SST to define it as the load unit. This was added in V4R1.

We have two tape drives in our 270. An internal QIC and an LTO loader (I
think it is a 3580/3581?).

We would like to do GO SAVE 21 to the LTP since we can do the whole system
to one tape. Would it be possible to reload the system from such a backup,
or can it only be done from an internal drive?

How do you see/set this?

We do not have an immediate need, we are just wondering if we are wasting
our time even using the LTO for this.

Mark
