Paul

were you able to get rid of some of the program messages displaying twice when a second session for the same user is initiated - for instance the message queue already allocated and the TFRJOB message(s) ? I did something similar to your scheme on a smaller (and apparently cruder) scale and this was the only annoying thing I struck.

Evan Harris

We handled the same problem by adding a routing program to all of our interactive subsystems. It basically says, "If your job name begins with 'RF', TFRJOB to the jobq for the RFSBS." This has handled it for us.

The program we use is a monster we've used as the routing program for all interactive users for years-- it places their message queue in *BREAK mode (-except- for RF users with their teensy-weensy screens), and a host of other odds 'n' ends.
