I think you'll find a Windows service running to accept those inbound
requests -- at least on the NT (NT, 2K 2003) side of the world.

Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
(Whatever is said in Latin seems profound.)

Doesn't this assume that Client Access is running *AND* there is a CA server
app running in the
background?

Well, d*mn, I tried it and it works! I was just struggling through this a
few weeks ago, but
didn't have the STRPCO piece. The FM I was reading said that something (a
server app?) already
had to be running on the client. Does REXEC ring a bell? I don't have my
notes from a few weeks
ago, otherwise I would detail my experience a little better.

Another item for my bag 'o tricks.
