It's hard to say what "plenty" is. I can create a .xls on a Win2K Pro at SP3 with 192MB and a 500Mhz processor and save it via Windows Network Neighborhood to a shared folder in the /root path on a V4R5 system, then jump over to a WinNT 4.0 system w/80MB of RAM, a 166Mhz processor and half the disk (and far less than half the amount of unused disk) and open the spreadsheet in MS Excel 2000 with no problems. Actually, Excel 2000 might even run just a touch faster on the NT machine (though OpsNav is significantly slower with a bit higher reliability). In any case, 256MB ought to be plenty to open a spreadsheet. I suspect there's more to this. Tom Liotta midrange-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > 10.
