I don't know if you can tell what is using the storage, but I can tell you
that CPYTOIMPF will also eat up disk space. I noticed recently that using
this command to create a comma delimited file used nearly ten times the disk
space occupied by the physical file being converted. Once the commmand was
complete, this space was freed. This was on a V4R5 system.

What I don't know is an easy way to see WHAT is using it. I do know that
runaway ODBC jobs can start chewing it up - you kill the job, the usage goes
down. I don't know how to see any other use.

Is there an easy command or way to see what is consuming this unprotect
memory, since it does eat DASD just as an object would. Thanks in advance
for the assistance.
