Alrightie. I got one machine semi-upgraded (thanks, Vern, the Client Access Options did the trick!). Why "semi", you ask? Well, because evidently when I installed the poor beast, I said "Sure, go ahead, install operations console" even though I had no intention on using it. I mean, never say never, right? Well, now the machine wanted me to run EZ-Setup. Perhaps I don't need this step because I'm upgrading, not doing an initial install, but I tried it anyway (and please, if I'm NOT supposed to do this, please tell me, because I have one more workstation to trash.... er, I mean upgrade). Anyway, it asked some questions about my primary machine, which I answered, and then it said it couldn't find a proper cable on COM1 (which makes perfect sense, since that's plugged into my good old 56K backup modem). I hit "Cancel", and poof the entire setup ends. And not only that, now if I try to run EZ-Setup again, it asks if I want to talk to my server or another one. If I specify the current server, it immediately goes to the Ops Console error. What should I do, you think? Uninstall the Ops Console option (and if so, how)? Skip the EZ-Setup altogether? I hate to do that, because EZ-Setup has a last step that you're supposed to run after everything else has been set up. I don't know, I'm so confused. Joe
