The clinker is handling *USERASCII. If I didn't have to handle *USERASCII spool files, there are a _lot_ of solutions to look at.


I decided the best bet is to buy the Keyes Utility directly from the FormsPrint people and consider that part of the FormsPrint software, so to speak. There should be no finger pointing when issues arise handling *USERASCII because everything was provided from the same place.

Then evaluate what else I want to do with report splitting, emailing, IFSing (is that a word?), etc., and get a package to do all that other wonderful stuff without having to worry about *USERASCII.
