Funny you should ask this.  I am just wrapping up my ftp exit point 
program that changes the user automatically from a library to a directory 
upon signin, and puts them into a particular directory.

So, if you don't want to mess with this in your ftp scripts, or try 
explaining this to your customers, you could write an exit point program.
