I have a field in a file which stores directory. I want to make sure that
the user enters a directory which begins with either /FTP or /QSYS.LIB
Therefore I ran the following:
ADDPFCST FILE(GDWEB/FTPCOMPANY)
         TYPE(*CHKCST)
         CST(FTPCOMPANY_INVALIDDIRECTORY)
         CHKCST('(substr(DIRECTORY,1,5)<>''/FTP/'') and
(substr(DIRECTORY,1,10)<>''/QSYS.LIB/'')')
The problem is that this will require that the user enters the
apostrophe's into the file. Doing that causes a problem when I actually
go to use the field. The directory cannot contain the apostrophe's.

How do I go about doing this?
