The best, and fastest way to kill a system is to do a scratch install of SLIC. Once it has started, you can even abort it, your system is dead, and all data is deleted in all (non-independant) ASP's. Assuming that you are going to through the system away, and 170's are getting close, the other alternative (not quite as safe, but pretty darn near), is to pull two DASD's from a RAID set and throw them away in different garbage districts. A better (but more effort alternative) is to pull two DASD's and use an electric drill to insure unread ability.
