Does the device description look OK? Maybe the AS/400 thinks it's a model that doesn't support 7GB. The drive might read it OK, but the DEVD might not allow 7GB... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Go... FASTER! Without an upgrade! It can read 7GB formatted tapes, but will only init to 5GB (*FMT5GB). I don't have the manual for this and have been having a hard time finding specs on the net. Does anyone have this tape drive and know what the problem is? Thanks, Ted _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
