ODBC Driver

I have an applications that updates a database file using MS Access with the
AS400 file linked to Access.  I have two DSN's set up for the same file.
One will let me update the file and the other won't.  They both appear to be
set up the same.  I get the message Not Valid For Operation. What am I
missing?
