I'm using V5R1, and I just got this working last week. AFAIK there are two
places where this information is stored:
Using the CHGTCPDMN command on the green-screen,
1) CHGTCPDMN DMNNAME('YOURDOMAIN.com')
2) Within Operations Navigator, under your system name, open Network >
Servers > TCP/IP. Under TCP/IP, right-click "AS/400 Netserver" and select
properties. Then click the "Next Start" button, and on the next panel in
the field labeled "Domain", enter YOURDOMAIN (without the .com).
Once I made this change in Netserver, My AS/400 started showing up in
Network Neighborhood.
