>> What has me concerned is just how many laser printers and laptops they're going to have hanging around for all of us to print our handouts from in the "paperless" conference...since about 1/3 of all the handouts still aren't on the webber...:) It won't be a paperless conference. All speakers are being given the option of requesting printed handouts for their session -- if there are code snippets or other things in the handout that make it critical for reasonable understanding of the discussion or for good note taking, then the session can still have printed handouts -- we are NOT encouraging attendees to print them all themselves. However, we are not wasting paper by arbitrarily printing handouts for every session -- we are encouraging speakers who think the handouts are not necessary to provide them for reference on the web or on the CD. Some of the speakers have already told us they won't upload their handouts to the web until after their session. So please don't assume you should be printing handouts during the conference -- it should be much easier to fly home without all that excess paper! Janet Krueger COMMON Treasurer
