Panasonic DF-1100 Multifunction Printer

I have a client that was on a 200 running 3.2. They were printing via 
CA/400 95/NT client to a Panasonic DF-1100.  Now with a new 270 at 5.1 and 
the CA/400 Express 5.1 we can't get reliable output. about the only thing 
that works is to go a into the advanced setup and choose a different code 
page(any code page) it will print for awhile. 

Anyway ... anyone ever got one of these DF-1100 to work?? How??
