Jay,

Here's a guess.

In your earlier post you mentioned that you were signing on with
'11111111'.  Is it perhaps possible that the initial connection of a
system console requires more authority to configure itself?  Have you
tried the QSECOFR DST signon?

Your twinax device should continue to work as a backup console even after
you have configured your Operations Console device.  That's the way the
system is designed, so it is not an indication that you have configured
anything improperly.

Have you applied the current Client Access service packs?
