The CPF3743 can mean 'corrupt in some way' (and many methods exist to corrupt a 
file). 
It can *not* mean "file was saved from a more recent release" if the TGTRLS was 
used correctly. If an object can not be saved for an earlier release, it *will* 
not be saved at all.
