Distribtuion lists aren't working

A few days ago, I used WRKRDBDIRE to change the *LOCAL entry from OURSYS2 
to OURSYS (deleted the *LOCAL entry, then added it with the new name).  
Since then, distribution lists which were working before the change are now 
not working (we use the distribution lists to send SMTP email to several 
users).  Email sent to a user defined on the iSeries (directly to their 
user id, not thru the list) is delivered without error.

We've recreated user ids, distribution lists, directory entries - all for 
naught.  Any ideas on how to get distribution lists working again?
