Hello everyone, I have a little issue with a COBOL programmer who is trying
to convert a field in a file with a numeric value of 20030302 to a DDS
screen with a date field defined as a L type date 8 positions but MM/DD/YYYY
in a COBOL ILE program. I know in RPG ILE its not an issue, but they are new
to the AS400 and I have no idea if cobol has any routines built in that RPG
has. If anyone could supply a some samples it would be appreciated.

Thanks
