I've had community tools installed for a day or two now and I have a non-technical concern: Is the iSeries community (especially the online part of it) really so large that we need so many communication methods? I think not. We now have at least: Midrange-l RPG400 Ignite MC-Press Online C400 Web-400 WDSCI MI400 News-groups And now Community Tools There are many other (smaller?) mailing lists and support methods too. I'm concerned that we're becoming too fragmented. Historically I knew I could search the midrange archives (and Ignite) and pickup 80-90% of the braintrust out there. Now we're spreading ourselves thin -- and guess what, it's the same people on most of these forums. I'm not sure I have a solution for this, but it's a concern I thought I'd raise. -Walden PS. From a technical point CT is cool. ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 (208) 692-3308 eFax WaldenL@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur. (Whatever is said in Latin seems profound.)
