I don't have that model, but I do have T622 with IPDS option - working fine on very large batches for us here - Couple of things on your psfcfg I noticed, (one I could be off, but ours is working - ) we do not have ipds passthru set up, or blank page(but you may want that between jobs) The other thing I see is you do not have auto recovery on. On your device config, we have a image configuration of *IMGC06 (as I understand this will help to print out the data stream correctly - you could be getting a "weird" data stream shutting down the printer) Otherwise - are you sharing the printer with a network (NT/Netware/other), that timer may be set too low and is grabbing it from the Iseries/400. Also "IF" you have a configurable model (ours has a very robust html interface) - there are MANY settings on the hardware itself for timing, and how to handle requests from IP/IPDS/netware...ect... check those out too (if you have it) HTH Mark -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jim Franz Sent: Wednesday, February 19, 2003 1:31 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: lexmark ipds comm error I'm trying to go live with a app printing to Lexmark Optra T with ipds card. Has worked fine for small batches. 1st big print (350 pages) and got error. Cannot determine cause: I suspect a timing issue but don't know if printer or 400? I setup using the Lexmark instructions with the ipds card.
