Jon, I only have anecdotal evidence...but I've been told by several people who use it that XP Home Edition sucks big snail tails. It's been reported to start out great, but quickly bogs down to where you can barely run your PC after a few months. I did a little research on various forums and discovered that this is a common problem with XP Home. I have XP Pro on a couple of computers and, of course Win2k on others. I've yet to experience any problems with XP Pro.
