Rob, Are your different divisions all using the same Domino server, or have you partitioned it (Domino partitioning, not LPAR). If you've Domino partitioned it, won't they be running on different subsystems (we're not doing Domino partitioning anymore, so I can't remember)? Maybe what was suggested in TAATOOLS can separate out the QNOTES jobs by the subsystem they run in? But in that case you would need a couple of tools: traditional and Domino. Still, what would the traditional do with the QNOTES stuff? Charge them to the accounting code associated with QNOTES? I'll be darned if I can remember what it's called (probably something simple like BILLING). Don't know about the other two. Granted, in our situation you would think we would be ideal for a charge back. Multiple independent divisions, (with separate shareholders) all running on one iSeries. However, if you penalize one person for using an interactive screen for looking something up versus a printout that is three days old - is that conducive to the long term goals? And how do these charge back methods handle non traditional programs? I mean server programs that always run under a particular user profile? For example: - QNOTES for Lotus Notes / Domino - and the various ones used for odbc and it's kin - smtp Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
