MANY, MANY, MANY years ago, I wrote a college paper on the theoretical possibility of turning COBOL into RPG II. However I couldn't handle look ahead and fetch overflow as I remember. It would not have been a trivial effort, and I never wrote it. There is no tool that I am aware of - but why do you want to? Why not simply upgrade the COBOL?
