Bonnie ...there is not an end of line that needs to be configured...I assume 
you removed the correct cable from the second workstation. Not he incoming 
cable to that second workstation... In the past I had run accross situations 
where I had a bad internal terminator in the t-connector but that is rare.

Vary of the device and vary back on...that may work.  Good luck
