WebSphere Standard 3.5 runs fine on V5R1. It has been reported that
WebSphere no longer runs on V5R2 by design... that is, IBM did something in
V5R2 to stop WebSphere SE from running. The replacement is WebSphere
Express. WAS5X (as we are calling it) is due to be announced for V5R2 in
February and for V5R1 in March.

We are telling our WAS35SE clients to upgrade to V5R1, migrate to WAS5X, and
then upgrade to V5R2.
