what is the CHGINPDFT value? What is its purpose in this code snippet? --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@MartinVT.com --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Date: Wednesday, January 29, 2003 15:28:47 To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: Display file attributes - in combination Hi Tony, Geez, I dunno - it worked for me. I took your code & pasted it into a DDS (only field on the screen) & then wrote quick program to EXFMT the screen using all combinations of indicators 31, 32, 41, & 45 (luckily that's only 16! :-). Of course, some of them were nondisplay, but the ones I could see seemed to work, and I never got a message saying the field was protected. Could it be some other part of your DDS and/or program? midrange-l@midrange.com writes: >Here's the DDS for this field: >A $OCAR# 5Y 0B 5 68CHGINPDFT >A 41N32 DSPATR(RI) >A 41N32 DSPATR(PC) >A CHECK(RB) >A EDTCDE(4) >A 31N32N45 COLOR(WHT) >A N31N32N45 COLOR(TRQ) >A N32N45 DSPATR(UL) >A 32 DSPATR(ND) > >After I remove the dspatr(PR).
